Prayer Reports

A portion of IFL's ministry is to equip intercessors with the information that is critical for targeted intercession. IFL accomplishes this through a routine Prayer Report that is sent via e-mail, fax and regular mail.

Onsite Prayer Louisiana State Capitol

IFL believes that to put our feet on the ground for which we are interceding. IFL sponsors regular prayer at the State Capitol at the following times:

Operation Intercession

Operation Intercession will observe its 5^th year next session as we facilitate intercessors from various churches coming to the State Capitol on a rotating basis to pray each day during the Legislative Session.  We have heard comments from members of the Legislature about how encouraging it is to see Christians with Bible in hand praying. ADOPT YOUR LEADER

1 Tim 2:1-2 instructs us that we are to pray and to make intercession for those in authority.  One of IFL’s goals is to identify  intercessors for every State Representative and State Senator through our Adopt Your Leader Program. If you will commit to pray for your state leader, please contact us.

Prayer Commitment:
1.   Pray daily/weekly for the leader.
2.  Contact the leader at least once by mail to inform him/her that they are being prayed for.
3.  If possible, plan to attend at least one legislative session each year and meet the leader.
4.  Inform the IFL coordinator the name of the leader you commit to pray for so we can be sure all of our leaders are adopted.
